Maya, is a born and raised northerner from the stunning wilderness of Ontario, Canada. Her journey began in the bustling city of Toronto, where she pursued her passion for fashion arts and business. Afterward, she embarked on a new adventure out west to Alberta, where she started crafting a career in hospitality. With more than 10 years of customer service experience, she found her true calling in making each guest’s experience a memorable adventure.

In her quest for new horizons, she stumbled upon Waiheke’s enchanting island paradise. Maya has come to cherish the island not only for its breathtaking beauty but also for the close-knit community it represents, its unwavering commitment to sustainability, and the warmth and love of its people. 

Beyond her professional life, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast. You can often find her hiking through trails, gracefully figure skating on ice, diving into a game of volleyball, or taking a refreshing swim. Nature and exploration fuel her spirit, and she thrives on the thrill of discovery.
