The romance of passing yachts, the ferry gliding to and from the island and an iconic, weathered red woolshed on the foreshore draws your eye and is a reminder of yesteryear. On a clear night view the dazzling display of stars in the Milky Way and the far distant City lights and Sky Tower.
Take your book, music or wine and find the bench nestled amongst the shared gardens located at the entrance for some ‘you’ time and fully unwind.
And now for the interiors- A spacious light filled studio, high ceilings, comfortable queen size bed with walk-in wardrobe, ensuite with heated flooring. Thoughtful touches provide a space with a true sense of style and comfort. A flat screen television, complimentary Wifi and Netflix available to enjoy. While it does not have a kitchenette, there is a microwave, toaster, tea and coffee facilities with a bar fridge available. There are two external white wicker lounge chairs and side table to ensure enjoyment of your morning coffee.
Karaka studio has a shared entrance foyer with the main residence, and onsite parking is available a few steps from your door.
Delamore Cove is just minutes from Oneroa Village with its wide selection of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Both Mudbrick and Cable Bay Vineyards are nearby, making this an ideal accommodation choice if you are attending a wedding or event in the area.
A nature and walkers paradise, the property is situated on the popular Te Ara Hura track and trails start in either direction form the property entrance (Note to self: Don’t forget your walking shoes).
There are four units in total available at this property that can sleep up to 11 people – a great option for groups travelling together. With its accessible onsite parking and flat entrances, the property is also perfect for those with mobility issues.
PLEASE NOTE: An exit cleaning fee applies to each stay. All linen and towels are supplied but please bring your own beach towels.
Minimum stays: Seven nights between mid-December and mid-January, two nights all other times and three nights for public holiday weekends.
Security Deposit: A security deposit of $300 will be preauthorized to your credit card 2 days before departure. This will be released 5 days after departure. A 3.9% card surcharge applies to all card payments. Please note this surcharge is non-refundable
